A much asked feature by Lync admins is now available in Office 365 & Lync 2013!
Every company would like to brand any software used by the their staff and Lync is no exception. It is much easier to brand Lync meeting invitation in Office 365 (Wave 15). The same option is available in Lync 2013 on-premise deployment as well, as they both share the same code base.
As part of the branding exercise, you can modify the following.
- Add your company logo
- Add a custom help url
- Add a custom legal disclaimer url &
- Add a custom footer text.
Login to Office 365 portal as an administrator and navigate to the Lync option on the top right menu. Click on Meeting Invitation. Fill in all four options and save.
The same can be achieved by editing the meeting configuration in the Lync 2013 control panel.
