I came across the official Microsoft recommendation for persistence to be set for the different Exchange 2010 load balancing protocols, while watching one of the latest Tech-Ed videos. Below is the screenshot from the presentation. It has three columns, the first two being the protocols which should be load balanced and the third with the protocols that doesn’t need any persistence.
