The Exchange Team has released the much awaited free tool to capture PST files and import them into primary or archive mailboxes, either on-premise or in the cloud. It is a rebranded version of PST Importer by Red Gate and is named Microsoft Exchange PST Capture.

Note that you can only import pst files, no export is possible. It is tested and supported for use only on Exchange 2010, although the tool will work on 2007.

    Can i use this tool for importing PST file from journaled mailbox database ?

      Hi Yongrak,

      As long as you have a pst file, you can import it to a mailbox.
      I don’t think you can import to a database.
