A new option exposed in the EAC is the option to use a CSV file as an input to move the mailboxes.

In 2013, every mailbox move needs a batch name, even if it is to move a single mailbox. There is a new option to specify a “large item limit”.

There is an option to send an email report to an admin account, once the move is completed. This is a nice to have feature. So is the option to prepare the mailbox move and start it later.

  4. Hi
    Thanks for sharing
you can also do a delta sync move which you couldn’t in 2010.
for example you move 50 users and suspend
then a week passes but you don’t want to resume and move the delta of that one week.
you can re-sync the differences again so the delta is smaller(without actually moving anything yet)
then resume the suspended should take a few seconds/minutes only.

Very true Turbomcp. You could suspend in 2010, but the delta sync is new.

  5. The GUI for batch moves is great. I’m partial to the GUI interface because I use the mouse faster than I type
