The title says it all. The task manager in Windows 8 has been completely redesigned.
The default task manager in Windows 8 has a simple interface, which lists all the programs running on the machine and gives you the option to end them. That simple, huh? Yes, that is all a basic Windows user will be looking to do.
Microsoft has picked up the fact that most of the users who use task manager wants to end a “non-responding” program. Only very few are interested in the other details which the current task managers display.
But, once you click on the “More details” button, a rich task manager is invoked. I will take you through the new “rich” task manager in another post.
