Windows Server 2012 Displays Incorrect Hardware Information

Just found some mis-match in machine information that Windows Server 2012 picks up! I installed Windows Server 2012 Beta (yes, the latest one) on a machine with 4GB of RAM. While using the machine, I found out that Windows 2012 gives different values about the memory installed on the machine. The “new” Server Manager shows…

Just found some mis-match in machine information that Windows Server 2012 picks up!

I installed Windows Server 2012 Beta (yes, the latest one) on a machine with 4GB of RAM. While using the machine, I found out that Windows 2012 gives different values about the memory installed on the machine. The “new” Server Manager shows the amount of RAM as zero ;)

The good old “My Computer” properties displays the RAM correctly, 4GB in my case.

Anyone else having the same issue?

Hi Ranjith

For me it’s showing exact size in server manager. I am using 2012 RC VHD version.
